Hey Guys,
I need to get some high quality slides of my work made and was wondering if any of you had tips on the process. I imagine it is somewhat different than printing to paper as it is projected light rather than reflected...? Any tips/info/links/FAQs
greatly appreciated! |

If you're taking your work from digital to slide most custom processing labs I've done this with have wanted it in the following format:
RGB Tiff
4096 x 2732 pixels (the ratio is most important)
be sure to give yourself some extra black border all around so your image doesn't get cut off by the slide-mount.
I've used several local photo-lab companies here in the San Francisco Bay Area and prices have varied quite a bit; from $2.00(US) to $12.00(US) per slide.
Good Luck. |
