I was considering buying max4 but have recently heard that discreet are releasing max5, I haven't seen any news on discreet's site or seen any articles in any magazines. So has anyone heard anything about it or knows if it's vastly different from 4?

i can say that character studio will not be available more... they include a character system like maya or softimage XSI...
