Hi, and welcome to Painter 7. You're going to love it.

Visit PixelAlley to find lots of Painter 7 information and tutorials, custom Water Color brush variants to download, and Painter Developer John Derry's Visual Guides for Water Colors, Liquid Ink, and Keystroke Shortcuts. Also, there's a Quick Reference Guide for Painter 7 Water Colors by Karen Sperling. All of these Guides are in PDF format available to download.

Follow the links on the right side of the PixelAlley Section Links Page for Painter 7 information, and the top left link to go to the older Tutorials section that also includes tutorials useable with Painter 7. The tutorials are color coded to indicate the version.

Other sections of PixelAlley also contain illustrated demos and tutorials useable in Painter 7, though most weren't written for that version. You may find them easier to use after learning more about Painter in general but if you have questions, feel free to write to me.

There are a lot of custom brush variants available to download at In Depth Discussions and in the Painter Can forum, loads of information on Painter 7, including illustrated demonstrations, tutorials, art done by members, painting challenges, and lots more.

The URLs are below my signature.

Have fun, and ask lots of questions. No one learns Painter alone.
