Wow, I just caught some of pics from the series from a magazine and they look awesome. I've always been a big fan of the book and the art.

I hear its gonna be aired in May in the US. Is there any hype surrounding it. Until I saw the magazine I had no idea a series had even been made

here they have some info...i saw a couple of commercials and it looks promising...i have never read the books so im not sure how true the story will be from its original

I was stunned from seeing the teasers on tv last week. Can't wait ! Those books are manificent indeed.

ive only seen one book.. and thats called.. 'dinotopia' ? never knew there were other books.. but.. YAY!

Hey Loki,

well.. painting the textures for some of the dinosaurs mainly. That and doing loads of matte paintings. I'll be able to speak openly about it once it's aired.. right now.. I'd better not.. You know what it's like.

man i really hope this lives up to the book... dinotopia was one of my favorite books as a kid, and was one of the things that got me into art. i'm kinda dissapointed that it is a tv miniseries, and not a major motion picture (i think the book deserves to be made into a blockbuster hollywood film, like lord of the rings or something), but they look like they've done a good job with it, from what i've seen in the videos. i'll definatly be watching this on the 17th. i really hope it can meet my expectations, even though they may be too high...

can't wait
