What are good ways to get a lot of expossure of your work/website?

I've got a website with lots of illustrations. But how to increase expossure to the right audience?

You need to submit your site to search engines, keep meta tags updated, solicit viewers (i.e. friends& coworkers), and keep your content current to keep people interested. Word of mouth, and quality content will bring more traffic than anything else.

yeah search engines are your best bet, but sometimes a like-minded audience (like us lot) can help spread the word.
