Does anyone know how to set the brush spacing to 1 by default in Photoshop 6?
I like to use the paintbrush but it's a real pain in PS6 because everytime I select a new brush the spacing is checked at "25".
Turning spacing off causes the brush to space with long strokes. Keeping spacing on at "1" gives nice smooth strokes.
Any way to save the settings so they stay at "1"? |

Yes that is possible. Lets say you have a couple of brushes that you want to have a spacing of 1:
- select the first brush and click on it so that its settings pop up,
- set the spacing to 1 and click the button in the right upper corner 'create a new preset from this brush',
- do the same for the other brushes,
- If you dont need the default brushes anymore then delete them,
- now you can save your brushes (but normaly they get saved automatically when you close PS) |

Putting the brush spacing at 1 really makes a difference. Thanks, Rob! ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
