I thought it wouldn't bother me, but it's getting ridiculous. I'm missing out on a lot of good artwork, and I'm getting pissed.
I can't access any sites hosted by geocity, angelfire, tripod, or similar freehosts.
I can't access Francis's image postings or his site at all. But strangely enough, I linked to his GT forum from another site, and it works fine--except I still can't see his images when he posts.
I don't think it has to do with me accessing sites that have reached their traffic limit. I can't access those sites, period.
Is there a setting I can change in my browser, or similar actions I can take? I tried lowering my security level, but that didn't help. |

Heh. It did cross my mind it could be the "gobamint" tempering, but I don't think that's it. I mean, if that was the case, there should be lots of other stuff I can't access. |

Hm that's strange. Once in a while I bump into my transfer limit (7 gigs/month) but that's rare. Incidentally, the forum is actually a third party thing, hosted on a different server (ezboard). That will probably soon change, as ezboard is raking me over the coals for fees. I made the mistake of letting the ransom lapse for a few days, and you woulnd't believe the pop ups.
At any rate, sorry for the inconvenience, and excuse my ezboard rant in your thread. Hope you figure it out. |

I have the same problem... but that's because of our company firewall which blocks anything related to games, porn, nudity, tastelessness, gambling, weapons, webchat and a few other bits and bobs... basically everything that's interesting about the internet... and unfortunately a lot of artists here have certain keywords in their meta tags so our firewall think they're posting porn, thus not allowing me to see the images... fun stuff. |
