ive had quite a few setbacks in the past, one especially hard one was that my tablet died(R.I.P.) so im on quite a low, so i was looking out for some real good snacks to cheer me up a bit. i came across this especially good one that id like to share with everyone. so
you need:
1x big back of tortilla chips
2x tomatoes
some pickled gerkins
cheese (cheddar works best)
you grate the cheese and cut the tomatoe and the gerkins into little cubes. you put the chips on a plate and put cheese all over it. then you add the gerkins (not the tomatoes just yet) put it in the microwave for about a min or two, just enought for cheese to melt nicely. get it out put the tomatoes over it and consume like a pig!!!!!
if you try it, tell me what u think, or even better if u got other such snacks. hehehe |

I had egg nachos the other day...I scrambled up some eggs with ham and cheese only to discover I had no bread for toast! =O I did have a really big bag of tortilla chips, though. You have to eat them fast, because once they cool the egg and cheese solidifies into this lump and you won't be able to pick it up with chips very well. I'm sure it would be really tasty with some jalapenos, bell peppers, and onions in the eggs, with maybe some grated cheese over the top. |

well, my snackage is kinda simple (I don't like cooked veggies very much, not sure why) but it's another nacho thing.
Buy a bag of tortillas (not chips, it's better to make the chips yourself, in my opinion) throw on some butter (or margarine like I do), sugar and cinnamon, and throw it in the over/toaster oven (if you have one) When it's cooked you have chrispy, sweet tortilla chips. You need the butter or margarine though, since without it the sugar won't actually stick to the tortilla, but a thin layer works fine if you don't want much of it on. Another thing I do when making chips is throw on salt, butter (although I use margarine), garlic powder, and grated cheese. Although it stinks up the house, it makes a good cheese nacho. Use whatever other toppings and stuff you like, I tend to use salsa with extra vinigar, pepper, and added hot sauce myself, but as I said, I'm picky. Bottom line, home made tortilla chips are GOOD |

Oh you funny Europeaners! They've been calling them Nachos here in Texas for about the last hundred years or so.
Also - try using jalapino peppers instead of gerkins for the authentic Texican taste to really "kick them up a notch!" http://www.bloomngrow.com/HeritageFarms/pj_peppers.htm |
