I just accquired an ccount at my friends domain www.gosume.com
it is www.gosume.com/txc
what i need is when i type www.gosume.com/txc it goes to the site, www.gosume.com/txc/txcmain.htm
can someone help me do this becuase i have no idea whatsover on how to do it, and i know alot of people here do, so plz jus thelp me out! thx!

Usually web servers have to have a file called index.htm, or index.html in the root directory to open. Name your main page index.htm, or make an index.htm page that is a splash page and links to txcmain.htm, or autoforwards to txcmain.htm.

your webserver probably has a few file names set as defaults. stuff like index.htm and index.html. and that txcmain.html is probably what it defaults to if no index file is present. put an index.html file in there, and see if it still defaults to the txcmain.html. if it does, then talk to your host about default files. there is no need for you to have to redirect right away
