Has this thought ever crossed your mind: "Aaah i can do better than that" while reading the forum?  honestly?
you have to be a pretty good artist if you get that thought reading the forum here!

I have that thought cross my mind frequently. And then, much to my disapointment, I can't. So then I go sulk under the rock I crawled crawled out from and vow one day to return when my talent equals my potential.
There are of course some people I'm constantly in awe of and don't have any dellusions about ever being better then. I sometimes wonder what it must be like to be that good. I wonder if they look at 99.8% of everyones stuff and think "bah, crap" in the back of their head while maintaining the humble and down to earth visage we see.
Imagine what it would feel like to make something far better then the people you most admire. I don't think I'd deal with that too well. |
