well ive just started to try to create my own works...
and i was hoping anyone could help with some tips on how to render: shadows, hair, clothing,landscape & human figure

Go buy some books, enrol in some art courses and search the net. To help a little more, pick one topic and go for that. Go for human figure, as you have plenty of reference around you and would lead you into the other areas.
Hmmm... maybe even going into the more basics of art if you want to learn about shadows... |
