OK, have you guys checked out the 5 finalists in the Resident Evil poster contest? Uhhh, is it just me or does there seem to be only one obvious choice... maybe a little too obvious. It really feels like the judges have a favorite and intentionally surrounded it by all the fat girls just to make the choice more obvious.

Come on, number 5 is just one of the pictures colorized blue and squashed. Wow that must have taken all night

Number 1 is attack of the motion blur. Ugh, I give up

In my opinion the obvious choice is number three. I actually quite like it. If any of the others win, I'll shoot myself in the foot. :P

the blues on either side of the red one are pushing my eyes focus onto it. so is the "vote" text in red - the whole damn composition of the site is rigged! argh!

And since when did the idea of using a simple photo for a poster disappear? I'm pretty sick and tired of this color-dodged photomanipulation crap.

TIPS:
take pictures (form the press kit) of the characters, add some layers mask, use some filters, and take the money.

It's sad, i used to like drew Struzan, bob Peak or richard Amsel paintings.

I hate to agree but this thing does look quite rigged, even though #3 looks good, all the rest I could do with no problems, a couple of filters and some pasted text is not high quality, they mustve had poor results or soemthing, did anyone here post to it? If so post your submission and well vote yours against theirs, and see what turns out, after all, the pole here know what is good more than those losers at wherever they were chosen at...

For one second I thought the work on the eyes photo was work from the finalist .. but obviously it takes part of the film :/

5 has the most chances IMHO; the title is on the top and all the texts are quite readable; the photo is not a bit overworked like on 3 and quite intriguing, that would be the only one to do the job I guess ..

The lamest thing on contests is they always receive tons of good work for a very cheap price and they always choose the worst entries

I think #3 could be improved quite drastically by changing the text on the top of it... making it fit in better with the rest of the design, caus right now it just looks big and out of place..

I'm not quuiiiite sure it fits the bill though... I like the game covers and stuff that didn't actually show gooory zombies or stuff like that... I'd rather just have them show some dna strands, or a little pill or something... that'd be moodier...

unless they want the focus the entire film around milla jovovich's breasts.
