We're absolutely after texture artists. It's sortof a prerequisite for the 3D Artists we hire.
I should probably change that job description to better indicate that.
In the meantime, definitely send us an application (you, too, Quasar). Thanks for the interest. |

So if we're primarily animators and modelers, but suck at textures, don't bother?

That texturer/modeler position sounds good.
Give my portfolio a look if you get a moment www.GOF.addr.com
and see if you like what you see. |

Modelers should have good texturing skills. Our character animators do not generally model or texture, however.
A breakdown of the positions and their job descriptions can be found here:

I would be interested in joining your team. I hope you don't have a problem employing anyone outside the USA. I havn't worked pro yet, but I have to become pro at some point. I have working on developing a game for well over a year now and its coming along well except we are finding it difficult to get the talented people. Its extremely difficult considering we are currently part time. I would love to join you team as a modeler or texture artist. I havn't done any 3d animation yet, but I spent a year in college learning classical animation. Seeing that I can use 3DSMAX, I think 3d animation would come easy to me. However, I have to prove that to the world. I still have to prove what I can do as an artist and show what sort of talent I have within. I'm committed to completing everything I start and I just love creating. Could I be given a chance of joining your company? I think I'm good enough, but I have to show you that. I have a crappy website at |
