I just got a Wacom Graphire Tablet recently and I've been searching for a good tutorial that would help me become adept with digital painting in Photoshop 6. Most of what I find is for Painter, which I don't have.

I'd like to learn how to blend colors well so the image looks very clean. I know several artists here just use paintbrush to create these amazing gradients of color.. I have no idea how they know what value of the color they should use.

I'm kind of just looking for a solid push in a direction where I can find the information I need to become comfortable with the digital painting environment.
