okay, what the fuck is up with this shit. i've just started a new character, a sorceress. hooray, the main rule of every sorceress in diablo 2, "Upon seeing something that moves, RUN. In case it does not move, run anyway. Maybe you'll live." which holds so so true when you're sub 50 level sorceress.

well, i was level 11 (aka "dies when someone looks at the character" level) and i'm fighting like there's no tomorrow against a bunch of monsters in the catacombs 2 (act1), it takes me literally over 10 minutes to finish off teh monster patch.. well fine, i lived through that but barely, and these fights kept going on and on and on... and all this fucking time i have a level 20+ something barbarian with killer gear tagging along with me, just watching from the side, doing nothing. what's up with that? aren't i supposed to be the one that tags along and just watches and runs? ARGH! then when i fucking waste my last town portal and didn't notice i ran out of them the barbarian goes to the city, asks me to throw a portal (or at least i assume so, i have no idea what language it was supposed to be), i say that i don't have any, poof, GHAUGHUASKHAFKSHFUKAHASF(orwhatevername) HAS EXPRESSED HOSTILITY TOWARDS YOU. what the fuck. this ain't what a sorceress is supposed to do. so go figure i end up finishing andariel off ALONE with my mighty level 12 megaturbokiller sorceress. :|


(edit; naturally the barbarian was able to kill everything with one or two hits in there.. he just didn't. he just tagged along and stole all of the little precious gold and items i managed to beat out of the monsters. UNFAIR! WAAAAAAAAAH!)

and ian: actually i managed to find a foo that's pretty cool. played alot with him and propably will later on. besides, the fucker gave me gear with which i can actually take more than one hit without dying so it's all cool :)

I had the same problem with Battlenet. In the end, I only played with people I know IRL, or at least, people I hang out with often on the net. Total strangers are without failure total gimps.

As for Counterstrike... don't get me started. It's the most godawful, boring, unorignal, repetative, uninteresting, tired pap I've had the misfortune to witness.

!!cy00lguy69!! from michigan. I have been playing Diablo online for a bout 2-3 months now and I have met 3 cool people that have helped me out in a bad spot and been fair with loot,items,etc... how many of these people would I trust though? NONE.

i hate that, i had another game with a necromancer and pretty much the same thing happened. i ended up playing by myself until i was a high level, and then killing people and taking there stuff. it was kinda boring though.

diablo 2 is digital heroin...the warrior is a realy fun class, all you have to worry about is having enough potions and having your weapons repaired...smashing things is fun!

Mmmmm...I had some fun with 'Rune'. It had all the glory of the barbarian but in a 3d adventure game.
I never could get into diablo myself. The constant blackness and single BLARING spotlight drove me nuts.

Yeaah, I played a whole lot of Rune months and months ago. (That god old too) but you can smash things in beautiful 3d!! W00t! I liked Rune for the fact that you could carry like a bazillion differenet weapons and run around smacking people with them! Fun!

the unreal engine was put to good use with that game...

the funniest thing you can do is get the "super hammer" when your beserk meter is full and smash dwarves into gibs after a comical overhead swing...their animations make them look so helpless, they just stand there and submit as they....get smashed

yeah, real role playing is much more fun.

durring class/work when your supposed to be doing something constructive, grab out a hacky-sac and a big sharp stick. then stand in a cirlce and delcare; "I, Hamitus Invictus thwack dopplebunny with twig of pain +3!" and proceed to inflict damage on your opponent.

the hacky-sac is used as a method of who gets the pointy end of the stick next. start...umm...."hacying" and whoever drops the sac gets the crap beat out of them by the next one in turn.

great fun for all.

you can also find alternative weaponry...i was just keeping it basic. there can be such things as: CD-R of Flamming wrath, Soda can of chill, papercut +2, villager side-poking, and casting the spell of rectal assault which takes 3 mana and only works if you have a mountain, which is easily built by throwing your opponent to the ground and sitting on them.
