Hello,
I just scraped together $500 to buy an Intuos2 9x12 and now I need to know if anybody has any suggestion where I can get a good deal from a RELIABLE on-line dealer. WACOM itself seems to be about the only place that actually has it in stock, though. I've tried Multiwave Direct, Buy.com, and a few others, but no luck they're all "back ordered" or "out of stock."
So now, in a great time of need I graciously ask for Sijun.com's assitance.
Thank you. |

I am from the UK myself, but i was wondering if there was anywhere in the UK that still sells Intuos 1's? The intuos 2 is too far out my price range at the moment :/ |

If you looking to get a good price on an Intuos 1, i can't say if anybody will have any. All i can say beyond that is watch Wacom's site to see if they start selling refurbs sometime soon of the Intuos2. I want to get one NOW. So i have to wait 'til somebody gets more in.
Also does anyone know what Wacom's shipping policy really means. Does it mean that I can just ask them to ship it overnight and get it in two days? |

the actual wacom site's prices are pretty good compared to alot of big chain retail stores, but if you watch the stores near you you may luck up. i got a 9x12 intuos2 new for about 380usd at microcenter, but the sale is over now. you could try pricewatch.com, i buy alot of stuff from their resource page, they have pretty good service to my knowledge. |

Forget about it I've already ordered it. It should be here on Tues. I am so excited and bizzarely calm at spending that much money at once. *shudder* ![](images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif) |

The Intuos 2 has 1024 levels of pressure, while the Graphire 2 has only 512. Has anyone used both and seen a significant difference? I have a Graphire2, and it's okay except for the size. I was planning on getting a larger one but now I see the Intuos 2 and I don't know what to do.

bradford i think it depends on how the artist paints. my friend has a graphire and she gets great results out of it, but that's mostly because she doesn't even need as many pressure levels as the intuos line gives. she accurate and can use it lke a charcoal pencil.
there's a difference, not in quality but in what you'll feel more comfortable with. i find it hard to blend with the graphire, so i prefer the intuos to make up for my...not so good perception of pressure.
did that even make sense? =p |

yeah it did. I knew it was going to be a hard question to answer before I even asked the question. I may just have to test them out, somehow. Thanks for your input though it helps a lot. |
