I know I havent been the most active poster,. but...

After seven years of duty, my wacom artpad II just died on me.
No warning, death just got it in the night.

So...
Before I buy some crap....
Should I go for the intuos or is a graphire sufficient (I just want one that can compare to the artpad II)

Intuos is better at least I think so. More sensitivity and stuff

I feel your pain, guy. My aiptek 5000 4x5 died not too long ago. But now I have a Wacom Intuos 2 6x8 that works quite nicely

Actually, this was not USB...

This was back in the days, remember?
Still has a serial port

Or had...

I think I am going for the graphire. (Unless the store has a very good offer on an intuous board)
From all I gather, the graphire is as good as my old artpad II was, or even slightly better.

Although I could care less for the mouse (i.e. I won't use it).
