Ok, I'm using my last chance to ask you wise people here before the forum goes down again.
Here is an image I created. I just blocked in the colours, but nonetheless I spent some hours on it adjusting values and tones afterwards. I just can't seem to get it right. It always looks milky and washed out.
It is jungle with some puddles on a mud road leading through it on a rainy day.
Now my question. On what factors does value depend? I mean, is there a way to get the right colour only through thinking? Or do you have to feel it?
Overpaints are welcome.
[disclaimer] I thought some time about where I should put this. If this doesn't belong to digi art discuss , move me! [/disclaimer] |
