I looking to buy a new scanner and would like it to have a scanning area around 11x17, i like to draw on 8x14 paper and hate having to scan the thing in two parts on my 8x11 scanner. I found a few on pricewatch but they cost around 1k, which is a little out of my budget. Any help.. much thx |

A good oversize scanner actually tends to cost a bit MORE than $1,000.... I had one which I got for about that price, but it rendered a noticeably 'shaky' image. The good ones I've seen have been big, heavy things that don't move at all when they scan. |
