Good stuff. Always fun seeing a step-by-step when painting is involved. It's a shame so much of the detail is lost in the final version.

Hey Pat!

Thanks, but.. I don't think that I'm spending any time here that goes wasted. I think the smallest marks I'm making on these do in fact get tranlated into the final, if very subtle.

nice.. never tried making characters like that, ive thought about it in the past.. but you make me want to REALLY try it now.. so.. ill go make a cool game now...

Hey very cool, now what about animating them? which I figured is like standard cell, what I meant was programs used etc...

Thanks, the game code however is not my bag. I'm blissfully ignorant of that stuff.

I leave that to my boss, I think he uses java.

Thanks for the tutorial Greenpeach.

I got kind of inspired by this and did my own. It's a marine type of guy carrying what is supposed to be a desert eagle with a scope on it, but its really hard to see. Anyways, here it is, with a grey bg.
