Whew! Its been a long time. I was pretty much ready to start just when the forums went down. :P
this thread is for signing up and for the rules.
1)Theme will be Black vs. White. (this may include suchthings as good vs. evil, light vs. dark. etc. its up to you , really)
2)Tiles will be given out with 1, 2, 3 or 4 borders and they will be 200 x 200 pixels
3)Each person participating will have roughly 3 days to complete their assigned tile, after which it will be assigned somebody else.
4)Each participant may sign up for more than one tile but may not be given more than one tile depending on the number of people interested.
5)Each tile must be made to blend in to its surrounding tiles.
6)[edit]one more thing, keep the tiles clean. no nudity or inappropriate material please
as you can see the rules are pretty simple and fairly close to last time. So sign up here and let us begin!
please leave you email addresses too(forgot to say that)

You guys should check out tiles.ice.org
It's the same idea but automated. And they have over five games running at once, all with different themes. over 10+ new tiles a day! |

Awetopsy: I don't know when you last checked out the site, but they also let you see the "quilts" as tiles are being submitted, as well as seeing the final product. The automation really makes it a lot more efficient without taking away from the authenticity, alowing more interaction like user ratings and feedback.
By no means am I knocking the game you have here, it's just that the games at sijun are not held that often AFAIK, and people who're interested in participating on a more regular basis will find the http://tiles.ice.org site lots of fun. |

Actually, from what I saw it's automated so that you can ONLY see tiles that have all their surrounding tiles created. Although you may not be able to see the surrounding ones, they have been created and sent in, so it doesn't hurt to post those tiles which you can see, because no one is working around them anymore. |

levik: ........ yes we know. this is a game we can call our own though. It has an authentic feel to it because its not automated. Everybody gets to see the result when its finished which makes it fun because of the anticipation. |

Update:
sorry about the slowness already people. We kind of got off to a false start earlier because of a mistake on my part.. but very soon we should be moving along.
Ive started a data base that will keep track of who is signed up and who has recieved a tile and when they returned it. this will make the organization alot easier.
so please dont get impatient you will recieve an email from me when you get a tile.
cheers

InsaneSpaghetti: quite honestly this has never been about skill level. It wouldn't really be fair if we allowed tiles only by people who have 'experience'.
you're name's on the list.. dont worry. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

I am wondering... When you are assigning tiles, are you looking at the artist's previous "achievements" anyhow? Coz I don't have a lot to remember me by (I am new here), but still won't mind to participate.
I suppose there is an assessment of the completed tile so that complete crap doesn't get posted =). |
