As the title reads, I'm looking for a new monitor in the 200-300USD price range. Probly end up getting a 19inch cause I'm under a tigh budget. Can anyone point out a good model for me? What are you using and how is it?
Some guys I'm considering are:
Mitsubishi Diamond pro 900u
Hitachi CM715 (cheap)
Samsung SyncMaster 900NF
Sony is out of the question. =(
Thanks

The Samsungs are good monitors but if you are looking for an investment for the long term...from what I hear they can't be trusted.< > The H. & M. are good for quality...however I can't say much for those models respectively other then the fact that from other individuals I have heard nothing but the fact that those two companys turn out the most trustworthy products...oh and the 900NF also has geometry distortion.
THAT IS ALL! |

Well I would recommend the Iiyama S900MT1. Cost me 200 which is just under $300. Monitor is top notch quality and there's a 3 year warranty as well. I doubt you'll find a decent 19" for much under $300 though as this Iiyama one is like one of the cheapest decent brands (here in the UK anyways).
www.iiyama.com is the website I think. |
