Hi, I'm painting a friends racing helmet with enamels via an airbrush and am a little nervous. I've done this before but never on someone else's object. don't want to fuck it up. has anyone does this sort of thing? should I use a primer? should the paint be thin or very thin? should I cover it with a clear-kote when finished and what kind? it would be peachy if you could help.
