Position is: 2D-Artists (also Conceptual)
CONCEPT ARTIST
Responsibilities:
Creating scetches and concept work for 3d artists
under supervision of the Lead artist or Art director.
Especially concepting architectural environments e.g. landscapes, sci-fi spaceships from inside and outside, realworld architecturals etc.
Qualifications:
A breadth of drawing skills with the ability to set/follow a strong style.
Deep knowledge of anatomy.
Experience in drawing characters, vehicles, landscapes, plants, outdoor and in door architecture.
Pluses:
Degree in painting, fine art or similar art preferred.
Contribution to a published commercial product.
TEXTURE ARTIST
Responsibilities:
Creation of surface UV texture maps and bump maps to be incorporated into 3D models
of weapons, charcters, alien artefacts, vehicles, etc. Reporting to Lead artist and Art director.
Qualifications:
Excellent eye for detail in creating texture maps.
Experience working on console and/or pc projects.
Deep knowledge of anatomy.
Extensive experience with Adobe Photoshop.
Pluses:
Degree in painting, fine art or similar art preferred.
Contribution to a published commercial product.
