Im having these strange issues with my Calcomp DrawingBoard III.
2 problems really.
1. For some unknown reason, sometimes certain areas of the tablet will become unaccessable. The pen will skip over LARGE areas of the screen, as if there were a large object between the tablet, and the pen. Also, it seems to cause the software to stammer, and slowdown for a tiny-sec.
2. for some reason, it will randomly seem to register 2 or three clicks of the LMB, even if the pen isnt in contact with the board. The first 1 or 2 strokes are always short, and at 100% opacity, then the third is invisible. Annoying because Ive got to use the history palette to remove them, and this ALSO causes the PC to stutter, and slow down for a sec. Im using the latest drivers, and BRAND new pen batteries.
Whats up?
How much does a new tablet (semi large) cost?
My one here is 18"x12" tablet area. |
