People have been telling me I really ought to get an agent. I'm beginning to think they're right: I'm getting jobs, but my career seems rather haphazard at the moment. Most of the freelance work I get isn't anything I apply for--it just...falls in my lap. I'd like to take a more active role in getting the sorts of work I want, but I think I need the help of someone with better contacts and industry knowledge than myself.

Can anyone recommend a good agent? (Or strongly NOT recommend a bad one?) No rush--but any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I just saw this link in Sunshine Artist magazine. (My dad's painting is on the cover..plug plug )
