Justin used to be the Art Director for Black Isle. Think he just focuses on conceptual and production art now. this is what he told me: "Each project more or less handles their own art direction, and I'm off on my own doing more of the production art." |

Yep, awesome. 'been following Justin's work for some time now --there's just a little wee bit of talent there I think
All those images have such strong design - love 'em!
link bookmarked - thanks.
Jason - there looks to be a good number of Painter images in there; and it appears Justin use a similar technique to your "watercolor" block-in to start a lot of the paintings and get the basic tonal design working - is that correct? |

Thanks Jason -
I love that "watercolor" technique, thanks for doing that tutorial/step-by-step you did. I'd been mostly using the "canhead" painter tutorial technique until I saw your/Justin's technique. The watercolor technique is a lot faster for me for some reason. Great stuff. |
