Okey..
I paint and draw a lot non-digital and wanted to get me a tablet of some kind. I read about wacoom and decided i wanted one.
But then at my cousins place i tried some autocad tablet and i think it sucked. I hope there's a huge different compared to wacoom, please tell me so.
Oh yeah and since i'm a poor student i was thinking the graphire. |

Unless you're planning on drafting a lot in AutoCad, get a Wacom. Graphire is the poor man's Intuos, seeing as they have less pressure sensitivty and no pen-tilt. Both are fun. |

Drafting tablets (called 'digitizers') are very different from art tablets (like Wacoms). Digitizers usually have no pressure sensitivity, and use a multi-button puck instead of a cordless stylus. An art tablet is designed for expressiveness, a digitizer for accurate pointing. |
