In all the larger skins and images I did I use color dodge... in the last photoshop versions it looked like the background color if I used it... now when I open my .psd files in PS6 it's all messed up ... the layers with color dodge have an independant color now every piece with color dodge is grey! help! ![](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

Adobe 'fixed' the, in their opinion wrong 'dodge' algorhythm and basically rendered this function useless.
Here's a way to salvage:
* double click the dodge layer you want to adjust.
* you'll get the layer options menu - there are two slider in there (blending - don't have PS open right now, so I don't know the exact name) and play with those - it unfortunately doesn't blow out as beautifully as before, but you can still get there halfway.

I tried around a bit and now I came to the conclusion I'll just install PS5.5 again, tnx anyways
side note... PS6 = BAD
