Can someone suggest a color settings setup for Photoshop?
I have a problem where my images are darker on other peoples screens...

I run Thomas Knoll's handy little gamma control panel. On the Mac, you can just stick it into the startup items and it'll run everytime you boot your computer. Just presave some configuations (I've got one for print, one of video games and another for web stuff) and you should be good to go. I'd really avoid messing with the color settings in Photoshop since you can get into wicked evil trouble really fast --and from your post it sounds like you just need to correct your gamma.
