Hi all,
Just got a second monitor on my Geforce2MX, now I have a spanking 2304x864 desktop across two 19" monitors
Anyway, the problem I now have is that my wacom 6x8, with it's 4:3 aspect ratio, doesn't do me very well to move across both monitors, with the effective 8:3 ratio they now have.
I have tried mapping just the top half of the tablet to the whole 2304x864 desktop, but then I have lose the movement resolution on my primary monitor, effectively using a 3x4" tablet.
I use the second monitor for panels and dialogs and things, with the primary mainly for fullscreen art. I have tried using the mouse on the secondary, but that slows me down having to lift the pen, move the mouse, get the mouse out of the way, and keep drawing with the pen.
I am guessing the thing that most of you dual monitor types do is get a bigger tablet
I can't really afford to upsize my tablet after this monitor purchase, so any other ideas / workflow methods would be most appreciated.
Cheers.

I have the same problem at work... however, since I had a 12x9 Intuos, I just made a narrower strip of my tablet active.
It's also possible for your brain to get used to the aspect ratio difference... just takes getting used to. |

I mapped most of the tablet to my main monitor, for drawing, and just a little sliver for selecting tools. It is kind of a mind fuck at first, but you don't really need that much accuracy for selecting tools.
I have a 6x8. If I had a bigger one I would do the horizontal strip thing.
