Many people like it. It's like playing with putty and sculpting the depth of your 2D image, giving it a third dimension which you can then light any way you want by adding some and moving them around. It's very good (but something I'll stay away from for a while).
Pixelator should tell you all about it... he's very good at it, and Kurisu, and a few others. (people that probably haven't logged into this place in the past 4 months...)

I was going to try it, but I wanted to know if it is any good? Is it very useful/what are its features. Any bad side to it? |

the materials in it are awesome. just try the demo, is a great prog right now for fun and concept work, and if you put some time and ingenuity into it - a stunning tool. and it's not too hard to learn, but it is still a prog much in progress. has real protential |
