I'm looking for a program that can compress .avi files using the DivX codec, if anyone has any good suggestions please e-mail me: [email protected]

u may use any video editing software.

u might use advanced packages, like adobe premiere or ulead media studio

but i suggest just go to www.download.com ,search for the keywords video and edit and u probably get about 60 hits, some of them freeware...

be sure to install the codec and then select the compression mode divx in the video options of the prog u have chosen...
