hey guys, i seem to be having a prob.. i did a pic, everything looks fine and when i crop it the values go all messed and everything looks fucked.... not really diff.. but big contrasts...

I think this will be moved to discussion, but, that is the strangest thing I've ever heard. Using photoshop? Are you sure it's not just a visual effect, like cropping out a large area of dark/light values that might affect how you interpret the image?

*edit* You were correct frost.. that is so odd, uhh.. what do you think the ideal background color for making this NOT happen is ? i just painted a whole image that looked fine and now i can see all these differences.. ahh.

hmm... that could be it... i am gonna test that right now... and yes, i know i shouldn't have posted here... but i need this to be fixed tonight before i shutdown.. this is so messed...
