I've been going through the forums looking at a lot of work, and I noticed that while many are published artists, a lot of the people here are new to the business and some don't even appear to have inclination to break in. My question though is this: Is it okay to use these forums as a place to find artists and encourage them to submit work to my company? I don't want to insult anyone by doing this.

Seriously check the link on the top right to the Forum Member's Occupation List, the text hidden behind that link will show you that probably nobody here will be offended by a job offer from your company - more like the opposite.
But don't be offended if someone here has to decline your offer, some of the artists here have really tight schedules. But I am sure that you will find an artist that is able to do your work here, there's just such a wealth of talented people here.

I'm open to freelance gigs, and even full-time offers if they're good. I'm sure a lot of other here feel the same. Just give us a little info on your company and what you need.

Some more information:
My company is working on its first role-playing game. The text will be done soon done and I will be putting the book together. Thats where I need art.
The interior will be black and white, hopefully with traditional pen and ink look. The cover will be full cover and after I find someone willing to do it, I'll give more details. I'm planning on all art being finished by the end of August, which I hope is enough time.
Over all, I'm looking for a horror/fantasy look to the artwork. I have written submission guidelines and an unsolicited artwork form that I would prefer to be used.

I would be VERY interested in submitting art.
Don�t know if I�m good enough for it. The problem is I haven�t much material to show, cause I had�nt much time on my hands.
At the moment I do my military service and this week I�m away, shooting some imaginary opponents

My military service ends with the last of April.
I could also work until then, but after it I would have more time.

i actually think that would be a great idea... if you posted up some material or something that we could start from (like a description) and the sijun members could battle it out with cool artwork... mmmm... cool artwork...

Well, without getting into any legal stuff, basically, think Golems, Frankensteins monster, sewn flesh with extra parts and what not. So yeah, pretty open, try running with that.
