Suggesstions on the best way to create background / water mark level textures of:
1) Rain drops on semi-reflective metal, and
2) Plaster, as in greek or roman buildings in good condition.
I have PS 6.0 and need to import the textures as water marks (or light tif) into Quark XPress.
Help ?

uping the brightness and taking down the contrast will give a water-mark effect, well, if you have a white background anyhow. if not, make a new layer under your image filled with whatever color your background is and then decrease the opacity of your image. don't know if this helps, haven't used quark much. ok, bye.
