I was wondering if someone had some links for pages wit tuts with human drawings. I have recently started drawing humans, but it doesn't look to good. Just can't the right debt and shadow on the pics. Also want to know wich pencils to use. Need to know what equipmet to invest in!

I hate to tell you but any type of pencil or paper should be able to produce a good quality figure drawing, it comes down to the skill of the artist. I recomend Elliot Goldfinger's anatomy book, and any of the George Bridgeman books, they tend to compliment each other nicely. Even more important than buying books is to draw people around you. These drawings don't have to be finished masterpeices, they should be quick observational skecthes. |
