Do they offer one? I fail to see it listed and I know there was a Painter5 demo. There is no way in hell I will dish out $$$$ for a program I can�t test drive...

No. Unless they've released one in the last month there is no demo of Painter 6 (grr). I even emailed them asking about it and they, the makers, gave me a contact phone number for all the distributors in Australia. Yes, very helpful.

Almost ridiculous for such a product, pretty much alone in it's field and begging for wider exposure to people who are begging for just such a product... (well, Painter won't do the work for you, but if you want control over what the brush puts on the screen, this is the program) to have no demo. So you take a high-priced, widely desireable product that the public has no availability to whatsoever, but then you have a little thing called the internet and... uh oh! I just think it's stupid business. They're asking to warezed. Not that I would know, I don't use Painter.

If they're concerned about the demo being cracked & warez'd then I think it's about time they realised that the full version has been around on warez for ages. I don't have a warez'd version (I'd be putting myself out of a job) though to not have a demo version around is just crazy.
