Hello, i've been looking through all the colleges in Canada with my parents for the last few weeks and i was wondering what is the best art school in canada? Is is Sheridan? Humber? ....other?

i'm looking for things that are related in art and design such as ...graphics design, multimedia design, 3d animation...etc any thing except fine art because my parent don't let me do it. But i'm gonna do it once i'm done my college because fine art is one of my forbidden love....thats what my parent think of course.

Well to answer your questions i think sheridan is a GREAT school. I am considering to go there as soon as i graduate highschool. NO i want to go there lol. Anways if you want to go in multimedia i cant answer you question BUt for 3d i would suggest that you dont go to sheridan IF your parents wont let you go into fine arts. For the simple reason that at sheridan you need a college or university diploma in fine arts or realated to get into the 3d animation program. Their is No shortcut to this unless you have like 5 years of experience in the 3d world. Hmm also if you dont already live in toronto im afraid its gonna be pretty DAMN expensive.

Right now what im thinking of going into the illustration program at sheridan and then MAYBE go into the 3d animation course but i doubt i would want to hehe.

oh and were abouts do you live in Ottawa

Well the 3d program at sherida is called a Post graduate course which is 2 years long. but you need a 3 year diploma before that hehe. Well i have the sheridan book in front of me right now =) . Go to the sheridan website and get their information book its free.

Well sheridan has a multimedia program but i dont know much about it.

Well as for where i live. I live in Manor Park in the new houses that are being built Near st-laurent road. I go to De La Salle highschool...
