Ok i've been using 3DS Max R3 for a pretty long time now and i was wondering what would be the learning curve for 3DS Max R4 and if it a good idea too buy the newer version. From what i was reading it has new features but are they worth paying that price for??
Thanks in advance. |

I don't think there is much of a learning curve, but as far as "is it worth it" depends on how much money you are making using it. Most of the changes (in my opinion, someone else always has a different one) is in character animation. A.I. was added to biped that is very impressive. Otherwise, everything else just got a little better.

As a user of 3dsmax I thought I could be of asistance. Below I've given you an actual brain chart that shows the learning curve of MAX. It's been proven to be acurate to 3 decimal places.

hahaha good one McSteed
personaly i dont think it will be that hard. ive always like 3ds max, been using it for years though. it shouldnt be that difficult if youve been using max for a while. every thing will be in the same place, just with added stuff |
