A lot of people on this forum Geocities, from what I've seen. And if you haven't noticed, they started blocking images, so you gotta copy and paste the URL...well, I'm lazy and don't like that So, the trick to getting around this is to just make a little modification to your URL.

Instead of linking to http://www.geocities.com/... , instead use http://fp.geocities.com/...

Here's an example. Say the NORMAL link to your pic is http://www.geocities.com/username/hi.gif. All you gotta do is change that to http://fp.geocities.com/username/hi.gif in the image tag.

Should I post this in any of the art forums? I wasn't sure if it was related.

Well, maybe GeoCities is just being retarded right now, I dunno. I know for a fact it works on another forum though, which is really strange =/

For:

Html pages - Geocities works fine, no popups cept that little thing in the corner.

Mp3's - Angelfire is good cause it doesnt kick you off as often as the others.

Images - UGO or AOL*shudder* work for that. they dont care about outside linking.

To the right there is a menu on the main page. Under the heading "NAVIGATE" there is a link that says "FREE SERVICES" it will then give you a list of options. Click on "WEB HOSTING" and then "SIGNUP TODAY"
