...takes a while to load...

I've been to Finland, to Helsinki. I liked it, especially the main square and the streets where all the coffee shops are. I caught a Silja line boat there from Stockholm. We got chased away from the parliament building by a big plain clothes security guy with an earring. He was pretty cool. The old library there at the university was amazing....

...ah, and there you are, mouse in hand. Cut down on the Coke, man.

10 seconds??? no... mine said 3-2-1---... three second intervals...

put it up at five seconds... annoying like heck when it's longer then that... I thought the three seconds (the ones I experienced) were perfect for a webcam... ah well...

good rez too, what cam are you using?

and for the rez.. i COULD make it put out 640x480 and update every 1 seconds but i doubt the net could handle that.. spotlife isn't exactly the fastest site and the ftp connection hand shake takes that one second with spotlife.com .. like i said, it's a temporary solution.

The size is good I think... you could put up a faustcam on a dedicated t3 or something... get yourself on cnn as the fastest webcam in the world...

...or something...

I never thought being a webdesigner could be so rediculously boring...

Oh yah, the pic in the wip forum with the cog is looking sweet as candy now that you added that little screen thingy there...

making a website out of it?

You and me both...

Even though I work as a designer I've never been able to complete a site for myself... I'm just never satisfied... plus I have no clue as to what to put on it...

I've been thinking about using www.hippytrippy.net/movie2.htm for my own site, but I'm not sure... even tho I liked it at first I'm beginning to hate the black and whiteness...

Mebbe I should learn 3d so I can do cogwheels and perspective text and screen thingies? ;D

I've never done anything even remotely connected with webcams, but is there like standalone webcam software or do you HAVE to use the one for that specific camera?

So if that cog is not 3d, what's your secret for making a cog like that in photoshop? =D

Always wanted to make cogs...

make circle, cut the center out, make one cog tooth, copy paste around. that simple.

make guides horizontally and vertically so that their crossing point is in the center of the circle, then move the cog tooth to the edge, then make the free transform axis point snap to the guide crossing point, and rotate.

Mebbe I should just make cogwheels instead and convince them that cogs are a much better idea then brains... HMMM
