Well, I'm new to this whole thing, (my good friend Napalm put me on to this site) so let me introduce myself. I'm actually more or a traditional illustrator/cartoonist, so I've only been into digital art for the past year or so. I do a lot of comics work, and I'll be putting up some stuff of mine in the coming weeks or so. Here's a sample of what I do (hope I did this right). It is just a simple pencil line drawing, colored in Photoshop. Of course, critiques are always welcome. Peace.

the pic is lovely, dunno what to say, if i'd have to dislike something, it'd be the hair strands :].

I like your work very much!
Checked your webpage and there was a lot of good work there
I especially like your figure drawings, great sense of volume in them!
About your picture.
I like it. You are very good with shapes. No problem there. THe nose area is my favorite. Very well described.
You could make the lines around the lips a bit thinner and tone down the hatching in the forehead. Othervise from that i think it looks great
Looking forward seeing more of your work.

Nice stuff you've got man, I just finished looking through your site. The sketchbook stuff is really good, I wish I was that good at drawing already. I particularly liked the way you left out certain lines like the underside of the arms and legs in this picture here (hope this links right and I hope you don't mind that I did so):
You've got just enough information for me to fill in the gaps where you left lines out and like the others have said, your stuff is really solid. Anyway, looking forward to seeing more work from you. Keep 'em coming and welcome to the forum.

Gosh, you guys are the best! *snif*. Whatever. About the life drawing, it's a method called high focus drawing, where you basically try to get the life, or the energy of the pose, as quickly and with as few lines as possible. The lines that are indicated were the ones that I felt best indicate the shifts of the weight, made the pose come alive, blah blah blah. There's a whole zen thing to it that I'm not about to go into. Thanks for the crits.
