hi, I'm Lunatech, new to the Sijun forums. I've been working with Photoshop for a few years as well as art, sketching etc. But just recently I've gotten a tablet and scanner so I think i'm ready to start working on some of my sketches.

I'm very impressed with everybodies work, I've been looking around here for a while. I need some help from you guys - the major problem I'm having is my sketches are so dirty when I scan them. How do I clean them up? Any straight forward tips?

Thanks! Hope to see you guys later, I'll start critiqueing some work. I'm sure everybody will love a new loudmouth talking about their art.

Hmmm, just wondering where you got your name.
My website is www.lunatech3d.com

Just seems kinda wonky ("loudmouth")

Please tell me this isn't a joke... =)

Hmm. I can honestly say I have never been to your website before. This is the name I used when I played Quake II, that's when I came up with it. I liked the idea of being "Lunatic" for a while but there were too many of them so I was trying to think of something to make it more origional...

Guess I failed. Small world

well, i usually use 'image/adjust/levels' to adjust scanned stuff. maybe post one of your "dirty" scans to give us a better idea.

Use the brightness/contrast settings.

uh huh, brightness/contrast, and there's a lot to be said for good old patience and a small white brush.
