Wow someone actually replied!

Why does it need color?! Not offended or surprised, but that is such a typical answer on this forum. Its either finish it! or colour it! Why would something be better just because it is in color? I made this picture in grayscale because I thought it would fit the mood. Or do you think that this picture would actually be better in color?

Nope. It's fine just as it is. But, I just recommend that you color/finish up some of your pictures in order to practice your technique and augment your knowledge.

Cool pic, I'd like to see more.

Anatomy? I think the Anatomy is completely fine. Looks 100% correct to me. When was the last time you watched cartoon network? This is what toons look like (ok, other then Daphne from Scooby Doo who's a hottie btw).

Ok, the second one's anatomy is all messed up. He looks so normal. What are you trying to do here, confuse toon fans everywhere?

anticz: This one might confuse everyone even more! I dont even know what its supposed to be, I guess its some kind of animal (gopher perhaps) singing gospel.

Cool! Looks super bouncy stretchy to me. You've almost got a quartet. In the spirit of this post, here's an old doodle I posted awhile ago.

Zarr,
Thanks, believe it or not, I've actually got a non-photorealistic 3D version of this guy (along with a few other surprises) that I'm hoping to animate as soon as work slows down a little.

I knew it! He just screams: I would look so cool in 3d, animate me! animate me!
Actually I been considering making a 3d model out of the first jazz man. But I guess that will have to wait along with all my other ideas (school is just not good for art )

got to go to bed now, might come back tomorrow

Speaking of jazz stick-men quartets, I thought I'd throw in this one I did a long while back. I made it on a Mac, so it will appear a bit too dark on PCs I think:

Zaar, very neat stuff. I too like sketchy images. My stuff is always better at that stage before I render the life out of it. Very original images here IMO. Nice to see something new and good here. Hope you keep posting.

Hello!

I have been reading this forum for quite some time, and instead of just reading I have now decided to post something:

This a fairly quick sketch a made a few weeks ago. The reason for posting just a sketch is that I consider sketches to be more interesting than finished art, and also because I rarely finish anything

Hope you like it, or at least have something to say about it.
