When i draw 3d-pictures in photoshop, i use the channel and blur some, then i use render / light to get som 3d. But.. how do i get it to be more 3d, like in more depth in the 3d?

Shadowing always works for me. And having a light source that is seen. I'm still learning about color theory and stuff. As I'm learning, not all shadows will be just shades of black. A true jedi, if your lucky, will get more detailed with you.

Do you have an image as an example?
Don't rely on photoshop to give the effect of depth in your images, if that's what you're doing.
If what you're after is a bump map effect using lightfx, that's another story.

Show us an example so we can help you better.

Heh. Cheesy light effects. You can try checking white is high in the lighting effects filter thing. Otherwise, just manually add a few shadows and highlights.

Haven't seen any of your attempts, but dont rely on Photoshop to give you such illusions. Learn a bit of perspective, it goes a long ways towards understanding depth. Also note that things further towards the horizon tend to get a little blurry, and colors start to fade. Just a few tips that might help ya out.
