Saw this cool helmet my friend just bought sitting around. So's I's set's me up a little cloth and threw it on there for some good'ol fashion still life drawing dookie.
Done with Cool Grey Prismacolor Marker set. Outline was done in a pink sketch pencil, so thats where those pink tones come from.
I never really saw any still lifes done with the Grey marker sets, so I thought I'd do it up with them. Took about 2 hours(To long for how sketchy it looks I think.)
I know your all busy, if you get time throw some comments my way. I always aprciate the feedback.
[Edit]The rest of the picture showed that cord in a distorted view. But I can never get 2 scanned images to look the same in tone/hue. Wasn't that much more of the image.[edit]

try putting the putting the paint where it aint.
i mean, the drapery is awfully white in comparison the the helmet. if you drop that white down to a light grey, it'll look alot better.
also, it's hard to determing your light source. maybe if you concentrate on that, the pic will be easier to read. |
