First off, I wanted to tell you a lil bit about me. I havn't taken art class since 7th grade, and havn't really been praticing like I should. I spend a lot more time ont he board than I do drawing, its been a month and a half since I last picked up a pencil and just drew. I dont have a defined drawing style and I draw whatever my hand happens to feel like. Anyway, these are two sketches I did about 4-5 minutes each. My scanner is silly, the paper look bluish even though they were white, and the pencil (a regular school pencil) came out fairly dark. Anyway, tell me whacha think..

Hi Kardis!! I think this is a good start... With a little effort I see major improvement in your future. As for a crit: I think you could really use some pratice drawing forms and shapes. Start by drawing the basic shapes of the head even if it's just a simple oval, divide it in half horizontally and vertically
and work from there. Some life-drawing would do u wonders(me aswell ) Anyway, keep plugging a way at it--effort equals improvement. Cheers

you know whats odd? im not a real fan of drawing ovals.. and all that fun stuff i can somewhat recall from art class. i just start with a line, a doodle rather, and at the end, i have something. it may be human, it may not be. its whatever the line takes me to..

but ill do that one day, if i have the patience for it. heh thanks for the crit, i wuv ya already, like how a man loves football.. though i hate football.. so i dont love you than? lets us ponder for a moment
