Hey, that's pretty cool. Why the mixture of bitmaps with vectors?
How long has this site been up?

| Nice animation Mose Bros. I really liked the look of the jail scene. Pretty dark stuff you have been making lately (story wise). I'll be saying "and sthpoiled my butter" for the rest of the day. There isn't away to correct the lisp effect in flash sound yet? |

| Really nice work, great direction. It looks like you guys do most of your animation by hand and then vectorize. Do you do your compositing and scene ordering within Flash, or are you using some other product? |

We use bitmaps for backgrounds because it gives us a good balance of the right look, production efficiency, and file size. We have experimented with a variety of formats, including a painterly vector-style (in Wish You Were Here - Jonestown), but we like the subtleties of the more traditional stuff.
pointblank: We do all of the art by hand and use Flash for sequencing and compositing. |
