Before I add the last finishing touches on this, I'd love it if you people could tell me what might be in need of changing... and if I should even bother finish it

Hard to tell you what to fix babe because a lot of the things that need fixed are touch up things I think the base image looks solid enough..maybe the harp things base is to thick? Other then that can't say much until you show us what you think the final image should look like

Ohh I did notice one thing though ... her face has a flat look because you have the left brow showing just a bit ..take that way and it should look a lot better...

I like the pic. I think you should have her face actually touching the harp, you can't realy tell if it is at the moment, make the body of it more slender and correct the pattern. Maybe you should aslo redo the stings as they look a bit large, but the light looks good - you mayslo want to fade the gold border so it is no longer touching the hair/dress. The wrist on the right hand looks large and maybe the hand to could do with being more slender. Hope you post the final, it looks good already!

Well I always love your work...So it's hard to say that there is actually something wrong with it. I'll have to check again another time though. My connection is very bad and I can only see the top half. Anyway I think that the light stroke of hair coming from the middle of her forehead (don't know how else to say it) is too rough compared to the other hairs. maybe you should add some thin dark streaks. Right now it seems like she has an almost white/grey lock of hair in front. Well I hope this helps

its coming along very nicely...
my main suggestion would be the hands. they look kinda "round" and thick. the only other thing i could say is maybe the shading on the harp needs to be tweaked a bit. lovely pic though... cant wait to see the final product

keep up the excellent work

Hi Enayla.

This is very nice work, high quality as always.Very delicate palette, and the hair is really nice indeed. I agree with some of the other guys here - the hands need some more work. Love to see this one finished.

And here's the updated version. I don't know if I'm finished yet... I'll decide that tomorrow.

Thanks for the comments everyone - just what I needed to be able to get on with the picture!

kay... I am not going to be to judgemental cause I don't know whether or not it looks the way it does because of the angle the painting is supposed to be viewed from... but there is something drastically wrong with her left hand. The hand holding the base of the harp. I believe she is missing a finger. But maybe that is what you intended. But I see nothing that suggests a pinky finger exists at all. As for the rest of the pic... It looks wonderful to me. I like your other recent post better though. The one with the bird flying away.

Uhhh, yeah, I'm with Burrfunk here. The first thing I noticed was the lack of a pinky so I was scrolling down through replies to see if anybody else commented on it too before I went and replied myself. I honestly don't see anyway for a pinky to be in there.

As for the rest of the piece it's looking good. Most of my comments would would follow what's been said, particularly in the width of the fingers. If I wanted to get picky I'd say that there's something that doesn't quite read right in the face, something around the mouth...it could have to do with what someone mentioned earlier about the left eyebrow being visible. Right now the face is just looking a little skewed...like the mouth nose and eyes aren't lined up quite right.

Anyway, the rest of the image is looking nice and I like the flesh tones, the design of the harp, that border is pretty cool and, as usual, that hair looks great! Keep 'em coming.

Well besides the missing pinky I see 2 things horribly wrong. Maybe it's just because it's late and I'm tired. But I seem to clearly see that her right hand seems flat against the base of the harp. Except for the fact that her fingers are bent inwards and not around the base of the harp. I hope it's just me imagining things. because I really like the pic and it would be such a shame. Well secondly the whole harp seems to be bent backwards from the upper right corner of the harp (wich you've highlited in blue so nicely) As if someone used force to ...well...bend it Well like I said I don't know if it's just me. But it just seems that way. I really like it though ofcourse As usual. The border is indeed very nice and...hair...long long hair...long beautifull hair... :P

geez...another pic! I can't believe it this outpouring art fascillity did it again....

nice pic, the only thing I would change is to give the harp more contrast to create a clear border to her dress. Now it looks as if the two different materials are symbiotic or as if there's a fog in her lap
